Last Night's Beginning of Sukkot

Last night we baked challah and muffins (strawberry, walnut and banana) on our fire outside.  Eating fresh challahgnext to the fire with Grape Kedem wine  was so lovely.  We had an Arugula salad, rice, and cooked beef, all of which including the drink, a portion went into the fire.

We were under a large rose-ish colored moon with what I believe are the flasing lights of the war in Heaven continuing to go on.  They are always in the East area of the sky.

We prayed our Shabbat prayer, and blessings we asked over our home, work, food, and us.  I had prepared a stew for tonight, as we can not light a fire again until after sunset today.  I also made a vegetable rice for today and tomorrow's lunches.  I also made egg sandwiches on the fire for breakfast today.

We then slept for the first night outside under our Sukkot.

We are spending our day quietly as this is a Shabbat/Sabbath.

What are you doing today?  How are you spending your first day of Sukkot?  Do you love Yeshuah enough to keep his law?

Have a wonderful Sabbath Day, Monday, September, 24, 2018.
