EVIDENCE OF THE TRUTH OF SCIENCE
AND THE BIBLE
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Many people have been decategorizing the Bible because they have not been finding any scientific proof of it. However, there are many facts which are scientific which can be found.
I will start with the first book of the scriptures, which is the book of Job, because it has many scientific references. This book was written in an old Hebrew style (which was ancient Aramaic); it has many peculiarities, such as:
· It is the only book that uses the singular word for the divinity “El – Eloam.”
· It has a lot of information about the creation.
· Its knowledge is unprecedented and amazing.
· It has many scientific facts that only in recent years had been proven.
· No one has been capable to contradict its science teachings.
I have to share information from different resources to help you understand that the book of Job is real and that it existed many years ago on our earth (more than 4000 years) The man called Job was also real. I do not want that you think that I am using only my information because it can be twisted according to my needs. However, you can compare with other resources and those are not only religious or Christian websites in order to prove to yourself that the facts and data I have provided are real.
I won’t be following the order of chapters because some scientific facts have more information than others, and some are more relevant than others for this information for you to prove to yourself once in for all if this was all something that happened in a “kangaroo court”.
1. Job 38:3-4, 6 = Word key ארניה 'adaneyah is translated as "foundations." The Alaskan earthquake struck on the Good Friday of 1964. Through use of more than 200 seismographs operating worldwide, using pulse waves and shock waves, scientists determined that the foundation rock of earth is mantle rock. This statement made (more or less than) 4000 years ago in the book of Job was proved accurate. How? Because the scripture says that the foundations were laid upon the earth. So, this may seem like semantics, and a weak argument to you, but, let’s continue.
2. Job 38:16 = We find the expression "springs of the sea." In Los Angeles and San Diego, and the nation of Israel, they have supplied water for their citizens by piping it across mountains. Perhaps they should look for springs in the sea. They actually did use these springs in the sea in Aradus, a Phoenician town, 3000 years ago, when they put a leather pipe down into a fresh-water spring in the ocean. The force of the spring carried up fresh water from a salty ocean. So, in other words, here you have more solid proof that a physical thing written in the Bible more than 4000 years ago was found. The reference is in "The Phoenicians" by Gerhard Herm, Wm. Morrow, N.Y., 1975, pg.68.
3. Job 38:31-33 = We find out that a normal human being from the past was able to know the constellations without a telescope (the telescope was first created by Galilei in 1809) or via knowledge of Astronomy (created by the ancient Greek culture many centuries after Job existed). Many old structures followed by the sky position and patterns for the purpose of agriculture, architecture, navigation, light used, etc. are documented. But, yet, in antiquity, 4,000 years ago, when they did not have technology, this was written in the book of Job.
4. Job 38:33-38 = We are able to see what kind of effects are causing of the “Global Warming.” How? Well, dust growing into hardness, implies that there is a drought. This of course was a known thing in ancient times. But, the things which would cause this to happen or not happen are still not understood even today by meteorologists. They use calendars, predictions and almanacs much like the ancients. So, how then, does someone 4,000 years ago write about this ordinance of heaven that cannot be controlled or known with the same understanding we now have?
5. Job 25:5 = It said “The Moon” does not have its own light; in other words, the moon reflects the light of the sun. This scientific information was not able to be corroborated until 1609 when Galileo Galilei used his “spyglass” (telescope) to see that the moon was an imperfect celestial body which gave no light. How then, did a person, who had no telescope like that of Galileo, and more than 3,000 years before him, know that the moon had no light of its own?

Job 38:24 part a = “What way is the light parted,” This statement was insignificant until Isaac Newton found a prism and discovered how a light could have many colors as same as the rainbow; people by centuries had seen it thru a water drop without an explanation. How a man without a mathematical knowledge and had no prism could be understand this effect and change the way of the light?
7. Job 38:19 part a = “Where is the way where the light dwelleth?...” A clear statement about how the light moves and travels. Light has velocity of 3 x 1.08 m/s, (Job was a wise man), but Mathematics were not advanced as we have now; however, many centuries have passed for us to understand the movement of the light.So, how was this written in the book of Job?
8. Job 38:19 part b = “…as for darkness, where is the place…” This statement was unclear because if the light has motion, then the darkness has to have motion too, at least to ancient minds, but Surprise, it does not have motion according to our time of understanding “The lack of light is the size of darkness.”
9. Job 36:27-29 part a = “The Water Cycle.” How it is possible to explain that Job knew the cycle of the water with all of the disadvantages and lack of technology which existed in his time? Aristotle did not explain the water cycle very well, and he had more knowledge than most; furthermore, in the 1580s, Bernard Palissy explained the water cycle, known as “hydrologic cycle,” and he talked about what is under the water too, which is found in the book of Job too. In the 1600s it was proven by Pier Perrault because the scientist believed that water was created deep in the earth. He went about to locate the source of water and prove it.

Job 38:16 = We find the expression "springs of the sea,” I know, I used it in number 2, but in this case, how a human being without any technology, or advanced instruments knew that under the deep vast depths of the ocean that flora and fauna exist and has a cycle of life the same as the one on the earth. In 1940 the oceanographers told us about the living plants under the water for the first time, becausd before this time they did not have oxygen, not the technology to be able to travel to the depths required and sustain life and be able to return with knowledge.
11. Job 38:35 = “Lightnings that… go, and say” flashes of light speaking audibly(Thunder) over long distances, in 1880 Alexander Graham Bell discovered how it is possible to transmit place signals on a beam of light in order to transmit sound. However, somehow Job knew this and recorded it in the book now known as the Bible more than 4,000 years ago. The photophone is now known as the cellphone.
I have presented before you some scientific facts from the first book of the Holy Bible, which is the “Lord’s words;” however, If you do not believe in The Holy Bible or in the Almighty Creator, just read the book of:
Ecclesiastes 1:4-7 and try to answer the following questions:
· Is it telling about evolution or progress?
· How has the earth been traveling around the sun?
· What is the path of the wind?
· Where did the phrase “Wind of the North” came from?
· How does the water cycle work?
· Also Acts 17:26 is telling us something important!
It is hard or difficult to believe on the scriptures sometimes, but they are full of scientific facts and data that the Scientifics have been chosen to avoid or remove in order not to mention the main source of information because they would like to receive all honors and gain their prestige.
However, some scientists have used the Bible in order to prove their ideas, or get ideas about how things work.
One example of this that I will give you comes from the "Father of Oceanography":
The Father of Oceanography was an American Naval Officer and Oceanographer Matthew Maury (1806-1873) who was also Christian who loved reading his Bible. He also had no doubts about its accuracy. And these facts led him to some remarkable discoveries in science.
Maury entered the US Navy in 1825, but an accident in 1839 partially
disabled him, so he left active sea duty. Three years later, still with
the Navy, he was appointed superintendent of the US Naval Observatory
in Washington, and also of the US Depot of Charts and Instruments.
Over the next 19 years Maury devoted himself to studying the winds, clouds, weather, and ocean features ... as well as the Bible. In his Bible studies, the words of Psalm 8 stuck in his mind: ‘ ... whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas’. Maury determined that if God’s Word said there were ‘paths’ in the seas, then there must be paths. So he set out to find them.
He studied old ships’ logs. From these he compiled charts of ocean-wind and sea currents. To study the speed and direction of the ocean currents Maury set adrift weighted bottles known as ‘drift bottles’. These floated slightly below the surface of the water, and thus were not affected by wind. Instructions were sealed in each bottle directing anyone who found one washed ashore to return it. From the location and date on which the bottles were found, Maury was able to develop his charts of the ocean currents—the ‘paths’ of the seas—which greatly aided the science of marine navigation.
In 1855, Maury wrote the first textbook on modern oceanography, The Physical Geography of the Sea and Its Meteorology. In this work, Maury presented oceanography from a delightfully Christian view. He included Biblical passages of meteorological and other scientific importance, such as the Scripture quote from the book of Job (28:25) which refers to God’s making ‘the weight for the winds’. He explained the Biblical statement this way:

Maury died in 1873. He was elected to the Hall of Fame for Great Americans. A monument erected in his honour on Monument Avenue, Richmond, Virginia, reads: ‘Matthew Fontaine Maury, Pathfinder of the Seas, the genius who first snatched from the oceans and atmosphere the secret of their laws. His inspiration, Holy Writ, Psalm 8:8; Ecclesiastes 1:6.’
It is often claimed that the Bible is not a scientific textbook. Yet the Bible’s accuracy when touching on scientific subjects has led many great scientists, including Matthew Maury, to some outstanding scientific discoveries.
In other words, the Bible was the catalyst and proof to find scientific things that existed. There was zero possibility that Job went to the depths of the oceans, did these experiments, or had these tools or knowledge. But, it is referenced in Job, and other old testament books thousands of years old.So, how is it possible this evidence is in the Old Testment? How is it possible that people thousands of years ago had this technology to know these things? You and I both know they couldn't have this. This leads us to 1 conclusion: the writers of the Bible existed, AND they did not have thins knowledge. That means "some thing" much greater and advanced than us had this knowledge.
That leaves you with 2 options:
(1) A Divinity
(2) Aliens (but they would have to be something truely much greater than us, and in some fashion able to do amazing things)
