So as we look at the definition, it implies a one time thing, but real.
I am here to tell you that when you are baptized the water washes your body.
But, this thing called repentance washes your soul.
Without Repentance we can not be clean. Repentance is something that begins, and if left to grow, becomes that sorrowfulness that is ever present. For we sinned against the Father, and it wracks our soul everytime we think of the evil we did.
The blood can not clean us, without full repentance.
That means you can not just say sorry and move on.
If we have repented and are in a process of repenting, our sorrow and tears should be present when we think upon our offence. This is a sign that you are in the process of being cleaned. If you do not have this sign, beware...these are false hopes of salvation.
