16 And hee gathered them together into a place, called in the Hebrewe tongue, Armageddon.
The word Armageddon itself means “hill of Megiddo.”
The Scriptures refer to the hill of Megiddo and to the valley of Megiddo and to the town of Megiddo. In the Book of Joshua, Megiddo is listed among the towns taken by Israel when they came to the Promised Land.
The geographical location of this area is quite interesting, for out of
Lebanon there extends what is known as the Great Rift, beginning at the
Dog River and then turning south. In that Great Rift is the Sea of
Galilee, the Jordan Valley, the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea. Then the
Rift continues on down through that area and even extends into Africa.
The armies of the great nations of the past have marched there. At the
entrance of the Dog River is what is called “the calling cards of the
nations.” Carved in a rock cliff are the inscriptions of the great
rulers who have marched through there and left a record of their

The
site of Megiddo is within the borders of the modern state of Israel,
about 60 miles north of Jerusalem and about 20 miles east of the port
city of Haifa. The location of up to 30 different cities over thousands
of years, Megiddo is today little more than a 15-acre pile of rubble on a
hilltop. Megiddo
is identified as a place of historic conflicts, and because more
battles have been fought there than at any other place in the world. They will gather here to: King James Bible 1611, Zechariah 14

said hee, Knowest thou wherefore I come vnto thee? and now will I
returne to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth,
loe, the prince of Grecia shall come.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be
grieued and returne, and haue indignation against the holy Couenant: so
shal he doe, he shall euen returne, and haue intelligence with them that
forsake the holy Couenant.
Greece will fight against the AntiChrist....and we see even now a new nation has been formed... Macedonia.... this region is like the tinder for a fire...It is small. It is a new "kingdom" from Greece. (Daniel 8:22)
We know there are 3 more kingdoms to stand up now. According to the Bible the Kingdom of the AntiChrist is small, a "little horn". We know the rough goat is the Kingdom of Greece. The Ram is Persia, including Turkey. We know it is from this region the Antichrist shall come from scripture.
